THE LOST CUISINE

We’ve always had this dream – a dream to preserve the rich culture of rural India, and this experience is a true reflection of that vision. Join us as we bring back a forgotten dish, khad, which has been lost with time. It’s cooked underground, and trust us, it’s not just a treat for your taste buds – it’s a feast for the eyes too. This isn’t just a cooking experience – you’ll get to be part of the process, helping prepare lost dish in the village near Jodhpur. While we’re there, we’ll explore the village, meet the warm-hearted locals, and visit the potter’s community, where age-old skills are passed down through generations. We’ll also take you on a local safari and a peaceful horse ride through the countryside. And if you’re ready for something truly special, you can choose to stay overnight under the stars, experiencing the calm, rustic charm of village life. It’s a chance to connect with the land, the people, and flavors that have been part of India for centuries. We can’t wait to share this journey with you!

Jaipur Block Printing Workshop2 hours

Jaipur Block Printing Workshop

Get ready to step inside a real block printing workshop run by a lovely local family. Your textile expert will show you how this beautiful art comes to life—right from carving the wooden blocks to mixing the dyes and printing the fabric, a skill the Chippa community has passed down for generations. You’ll also hear some interesting stories about how this craft began and how it’s kept alive today. Feel free to chat with the artists while they work. They love sharing their process, and you’re welcome to take photos or videos of their stunning designs. You’ll also walk through the quality check section, where a team of talented women carefully look over every piece before it leaves the workshop. And the best part? You get to try it yourself. With the help of the artists, you can print your own scarf or apron using the wooden blocks and three colours of your choice. It’s fun, a little messy, and an experience you’ll definitely remember. After you’re done printing, watch how the fabric is washed and finished—and yes, you get to take your creation home as a personal souvenir. If you’re interested, you can even get custom-made clothes stitched by the workshop’s tailors, or browse through their collection for some great-quality pieces to take back with you.

A Taste of Mumbai: A Local Food Tour3–4 hours

A Taste of Mumbai: A Local Food Tour

If you really want to understand Mumbai, you have to eat the way locals do and move through the city the same way we do. On this walk, you’ll explore Mumbai with a local guide who knows the streets, the food, and the stories that come with it. We use local transportation to get from one part of the city to another, because that’s how most of us get around every day. It’s part of the experience and one of the best ways to feel the energy of Mumbai. Over the course of the walk, you’ll try 10–12 food items that Mumbaikars actually eat: Vada Pav, Bhel Puri, Pav Bhaji, and Mumbai-style kebabs, along with a few other favourites. We stop, eat, talk, and walk. We share stories about the neighbourhoods you’re in, the people who run these food stalls, and how food fits into everyday life in Mumbai. Think of it less as a tour and more as spending a few hours out in the city with a local who enjoys showing you around.
